After our third day in Sydney we did a tour around the city, prior to the tour we thought we had see already a lot, but during this tour we found out we didn’t knew the city. Our guide, Daniel, is an amazing story teller and the 3,5h tour was over before we knew it. Really recommend this tour and our guide!

This is a fantastic fun and informative tour. Daniel was our tour guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable and engaging with a genuine passion for Sydney history.

As a walking tour this is a great mix of historical colonial sites as well as Indigenous history together with interesting anecdotes with a bit of bird watching thrown in (kookaburras in the Botanic gardens).
Daniel also shared some bar/restaurant tips and made sure over the 3 hours we had time for coffee and quick visit to the nicest loos in Sydney.

Small group of maximum 12 people so you’re not one of a herd. Highly recommended.

The Little Italy Fivedock tour by Local Sauce Tours really opened up to us an experience of top class Italian food & meats. I’ve never tasted a more moist & fresh mortadella & the line up out the door at the deli was testament to the quality we experienced as well as the lovely owners. Our trip was both educational and delicious! Eddie, our tour guide, shared fascinating insights into the rich and often hidden history of Chinese immigrants in Australia. His extensive knowledge of Chinese cuisine and history was truly impressive. Every dish we tasted was incredible.

What an unforgettable experience! My partner and I have both grown up in Sydney our whole lives and we had no idea that Thaitown even existed – we recommend the Thaitown tour to everyone, locals and tourists alike!

The highlight of the tour was definitely the food. We stopped at several hidden gems, each offering a different taste of Thailand. From fragrant curries to delicious street food snacks, every bite was a delight. The flavours were authentic and took us right back to the streets of Bangkok.

For $70pp we got to try a TONNE of food – the value is unbeatable. This is a must-do for anyone who loves Thai food or wants to explore a different side of Sydney. We can’t wait to try another tour soon!

We had the pleasure of doing this tour and it didn’t disappoint!

From the moment we met Daniel (our guide for the evening), we knew we were in good hands. He greeted us with a smile, was polite and informative and did a great job.

We all had a great time on the Little Italy Tour. Justin shared with us some little Italian Gems – a butcher, a Deli, and a Patisserie. All offered great information, stories, and a taste of their delicious food.

Justin was friendly, on time and knowledgeable about the bars and locations we went to. The first bar we were supposed to go to was closed unexpectedly and he found us a new one on the spot which was great. He also had stories intermingled throughout the experience which was nice as well. Overall a great experience and would do again if I visit Sydney again.

I booked the tour for my father in law and my son. Both of them enjoyed it. My boy told me lots of things Justin told him today. He like it very much. As a teenager, to be honest, my boy talked me such long time, it seems almost a century ago.

Dan was our guide. He was full of energy and pleasant throughout the whole tour. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Australia; and not only encouraged but was eager to answer all of our questions. He could’ve kept on talking if we weren’t on a time crunch. LOL. All the stops were well thought out.

My favorite was the fish curry balls. I enjoyed this tour because I tried foods I’ve never tried before and I loved learning about the symbolic meaning of statues and historical land marks.

my mate Justin went above and beyond for this amazing walking tour! honestly but for this tour, i’d never get a chance to really get to know of Sydney to its fullest – including its colonial history, democracy and diversity. i especially loved how the tour is a good mix of fun, knowledge and magical storytelling. Justin is an amazing storyteller and i was so enchanted by how he interweaves different corners and streets of Sydney with rich, inspiring stories. for those of you who tours in the afternoon – you’ll have a chance to end amazing 3-hour walking tour looking over a fantastic sunset view of harbor bridge and opera house, with a nice cup of beer on the side. pro tip: don’t forget to check out the hidden gems in the city that Justin shares at the end of the tour!

This was an overall exceptional tour. I only had a couple days in Sydney and I really wanted to experience what the city has to offer! Justin gives you great insight into the vibrant history of Sydney, from how it began to where the city is now. I enjoyed exploring the city, and walking through the various districts. Tour was great, got to see a completely different bar scene that you would just not find from google searches or normal research methods. Pretty sure that most Sydney residents would not be aware of some of the bars we went to. Justin was a fantastic host, as well as taking the group around cool bars he kept the group entertained with interesting history on Sydney and teaching us Aussie Slang. Would recommend this tour for anybody visiting Sydney and for Sydney residents who want to see a side to the city they might not have been before.

I went on Justin’s secret city bar crawl tour in Sydney with a friend. We had such an amazing time that we had to book the secret Surry Hills bar crawl as well! Both nights were exceptional and Justin is a really good host! The bars we went to were really cool and I definitely would not of stumbled across them!!
