What you’ll do
Drink and discover on Sydney’s best nightlife tour! Perfect for solos, friends, and locals of all ages who want a fun and unique night out exploring Sydney’s best small bars.
Over 3.5 hours, your expert host will take you to 3 – 4 different bars including very well-hidden ones and some of Sydney’s top-rated bars. We include the first drink (beer or wine) and then leave it up to you to choose how you want to enjoy the night. There’s no pressure to drink, so if you prefer not to, we promise you’ll still have fun!
As we explore, you’ll hear a few fun stories, covering crime, local legends & other “pub trivia” worthy tidbits.
On Tuesday nights, we explore some of Sydney’s best bars around the CBD, with a focus on the “Bermuda’s Triangle” of small bars spread across York, Clarence and Kent (YCK) street precinct.
On Wednesday nights, come check out quirky Newtown with us, including Enmore Road (recently voted as one of the coolest streets in the world).
On Thursday nights, we hit up Circular Quay and The Rocks, where a bunch of fantastic new cocktail bars have opened up in recent years.
On Friday nights, you’ll have fun in the southern end of the city centre, including a visit to the Chinatown night markets and Thaitown, the hidden gem of Sydney’s CBD.
And on Saturday nights, we head to our favourite stomping grounds of Surry Hills and Darlinghurst, so you can party like the weekend it is!
After the tour, we’ll provide you with a map link to all the bars and places visited throughout the night, plus some extra spots to check out. This is your ticket to the best night out in Sydney!

Perfect for:
Group size:
Up to 12 people (no minimum numbers). If booking for more than 6 people, you must book as a private group – contact us first and we’ll set something up.
Budget for drinks:
Expect to spend at least $40 AUD extra per person on drinks (beers & wine only) or at least $60 AUD extra person if ordering mixed drinks and cocktails.
Age range:
This tour is great for everyone over 18. Most participants are in their 20s, 30s and 40s but we love our more “mature” guests – they party harder!
Accessibility:
Unfortunately this tour is not wheelchair-friendly but please contact us directly if you would like to organise an accessible private tour. We cover approximately 2km, with some hills and stairs. The total walking time is approximately 30 minutes, but with plenty of drink stops along the way.
Start location
Tuesday & Friday: Queen Victoria Building; Wednesday: “I Have A Dream” mural, Newtown; Thursday: Customs House; Saturday: Stanley St, Darlinghurst.
End location
Tuesday: near Wynyard station; Wednesday: near Newtown station; Thursday: near Circular Quay station; Friday & Saturday: near Central station.

Lovely evening
Daniel was very personable, great on checking in on everyone and a knowledgeable guide. I learned a lot and had heaps of fun. It's a great way to meet people and see bars you otherwise might not have decided to patron. There is one spot in particular on the Thursday tour I joined that I loved- the history behind it was so interesting. But of course that's something I'll leave Daniel to tell you about :)

Secret Bar Crawl
We did a Secret Bar Crawl with Daniel on a Saturday evening. We had great fun and Daniel was very informative about the Sydney history at bars we stopped.in. Beautiful cocktails along the way in some bars behind secret doors. A five star event and would recommend it to anyone wanting a evening out with a difference. Thankyou Lesley

Fantastic night out!
We had the pleasure of doing this tour and it didn’t disappoint! From the moment we met Daniel (our guide for the evening), we knew we were in good hands. He greeted us with a smile, was polite and informative and did a great job. All the bars had their own unique qualities and they all rated high for our family, ranging in age from 19 to 86 years. So much fun, delicious cocktails and really interesting stories along the way. I highly recommend this tour and loved having the venue information plus others to discover, emailed through the next day via a link so we never forget where we went.

我們一共去了四間local bar，有適合安靜聊天的，有適合聚會一起玩的，也有很有異國風情但又充滿澳洲特色的。真的很開心能夠預約並且參與到了行程，而且也認識了來自其他國家的朋友，我們都交換了聯絡方式還打算接下來幾天能夠約著一起玩。 雖然我本身英語不是很好啦，但是我們的導遊Claudia真的很友善，會慢慢跟我們聊天以及介紹周圍有什麼好玩的。然後如果你有什麼額外想去或者有感興趣的範疇，問Claudia她也會很興致勃勃的跟你分享。像是我說我想去看看有沒有什麼藝術家工作室或是展覽有推薦的，Claudia就跟我分享了幾個地方，而這些地方他們本身是沒有什麼資訊在網上的，作為遊客你是真的很難做功課然後找到他們，然後導遊跟你分享了這些真的算是本地人有關注過藝文圈才知道的消息。所以真的很感謝Claudia並且很開心能參與這次活動。

Amazing Bar Tour
I had such a fantastic time on Tuesday that I decided to come back for the Thursday tour, and it was equally wonderful. It was an amazing experience! Mitchell's passion and storytelling skills made the evening incredibly enjoyable. He took us to some fantastic bars and shared fascinating stories about Sydney's history and bar culture.
