Matt was incredible! Such a fun walk around Sydney learning all the history and getting tips & tricks on what to see on our trip. His suggestions turned out to be the highlights of our trip.

We (my two adult daughters and I) had an amazing experience on the Saturday night walking tour.

Claudia was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood, and also created a fun and welcoming atmosphere, that encouraged all of us to mingle and enjoy.

It was a great way to explore Sydney, get some local recommendations, and get to know some kind and interesting locals and fellow travelers.

Did the Sydney China Town tour. We are from Sydney but discovered places we would have never known of otherwise & tried new things we wouldn’t have even considered. Learned some history as well. Richard our guide was amazing – authentic and enthusiastic. Great value for money and the very best way to spend a Sunday morning.

My husband and I did the Chinatown tour with our guide Richard and had such a great time. The food was amazing with a really diverse range of dishes, but what made it even better were the stories and history we heard along the way.
It was a part of the city we’d walked through many times before, but Richard really brought it to life in a new way. We got to discover some really authentic, flavour-packed Asian spots that we’ll definitely go back to, and learned about the cultural and historical roots behind different Chinese culinary traditions.

We’d highly recommend this tour and Richard -he’s passionate, knowledgeable, and great at showing both locals and visitors a side of Chinatown that goes way beyond the usual spots.

Has an awesome tour with Matt, very educational and fun, it was the first thing I did in Sydney and would highly recommend it! He went over the history from the Gadigal people, the British colonization, and the modern multicultural movement, really interesting!

Newtown Food and Art tour was amazing. Our guide Andrew gave great information about the pieces we saw and gave us an appreciation of the world of Newtown art. Fantastic tour of Newtown! It was the perfect experience for our Hospitality students, giving them a great taste of the diverse range of cultural foods on offer. The tour guides were knowledgeable, engaging, and fun, and they thoughtfully selected businesses and food samples that suited our group. Thank you for providing such an enjoyable and educational day out. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this experience to other school groups.

I happened to be the only person on the tour, but it was an informative tour. Justin was my guide, and he did a wonderful job! He provided a lot of historical information about Sydney and the founding of Australia. We covered a lot of the city, and I enjoyed learning about the different parts we visited. I would recommend this tour!

Was a really wonderful night to hear about the social enterprise of Parliament on King who host the Chefs Refugee Dinner. Lucy greeted us like an old friend and facilitated the night brilliantly. The meal was superb by Frideh from Iran. And such an eclectic bunch of people to share a meal with. We went not knowing what to expect and left like we had shared a meal with good friends.

This is the second time I’ve attended the Refugee Dinner at Parliament on King. It is a lovely intimate space – a very friendly and eclectic bunch of people and the food, cooked by an Iranian lady, was delicious. Lucy from Local Sauce was really welcoming and engaged with us all. Ravi our host was as usual, very gracious, and has interesting stories to tell. Highly recommend this experience .. and very suitable for solo visitors.

Very well organised from start to finish. We had a large group of 26 but Justin was able to look after us all. We had 4-5 small dishes each, all were really tasty. The dumpling place was my personal favourite.

Jake was an outstanding guide during last night’s pub crawl. Not only is he easy on the eyes, but he also made sure everyone felt included, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the night. His witty, nerdy jokes helped break the ice and made it easy for everyone to connect and have a great time together. Jake created a fun, welcoming atmosphere that turned a group of strangers into friends by the end of the evening. Great local tour. Our guide, Tom, is clearly passionate about Australia history which was fantastic. As Australian from SA, it was really interesting to hear about Brisbane’s settlement. Tom pointed out lots of great spots to eat and drink also. Great tour. We did a similar one in Sydney and loved it so booked with the same company when we came to Brisbane for the first time. 10/10 recommend!

Such a fun tour, Eddie was great and took us to a bunch of interesting places in Sydney. He had some fun stories to share with the group too about the city and did a good job getting us to connect as a group.

Die Tour war zwar mit 3,5 h sehr lang und man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass man viel laufen wird, aber für die unterschiedlichen Einblicke war es das auf jeden Fall Wert. Tour was good overall. Felt it could have been more structured in terms of heating the story of Brisbane in chronological order. It felt a bit random. However, our guide Tom was really nice and friendly and had a wealth of information to share.
